  • Threat Level: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
  • Elemental waterblight icon mhr wiki guideWater Damage monster
  • Enraged Mode: Apex Monsters are always enraged.
  • Rampage: During Rampage missions that include Apex Arzuros, it will serve as the final Major Threat. Apex Monsters are not limited by the standard Rampage Roles that other monsters fall under and will tend to fill all three. Apexes have a tendency to go for any intact gates before the final one, often making short work of them and forcing a last stand at the final gate. Apex Monsters are highly dangerous and can destroy platforms and Hunting Installations. They can also call on hordes of monsters and enrage them with their roar. When an Apex releases a particularly deafening roar, this signals that they are charging up for a devastating attack which will deal massive damage to the final gate if not stopped. Strategic use of the Counter Gong and other Hunting Installations is the key to stopping these attacks and setting up windows of opportunity for a counter.
