Risen Kushala Daora are elder dragons that have found a way to overcome their affliction. By suppressing the Qurio virus, they have gained great strength and new abilities. They command destructive storms, easily cornering their prey with a more varied arsenal of attacks than their regular counterparts. When their anger reaches its peak, they'll enter into their Risen state and their body will begin to glow.

 

MH Rise Risen Kushala Daora Unlock Information

In order to unlock Risen Kushala Daora, you must first reach Master Rank 120. After this prerequisite is met, Risen Kushala Daora will be available for hunting in Quests in which the monster appears in, as well as in expeditions.

 

MH Rise Risen Kushala Daora Combat Info

After inflicting a sufficient amount of damage to a Risen elder dragon, they'll enter into a Risen state. In this state, their attacks are much more powerful. With Risen Kushala Daora, they II draw in everything around them and then unleash it as a giant tornado. Stay on the offensive to prevent them from entering this state or to knock them out of it. 

 

Quick Combat Tips

  • First and foremost, use equipment that contains purple skill icon monster hunter rise wiki guideChameleos Blessing! This skill negates wind pressure, so it is a must before facing Risen Kushala Daora. Craft the Haze Jewel 1 to obtain it and then slot it in your equipment.
  • Once Risen Kushala Daora enters its risen state, aim for the head! Attacks on any other part will not do damage to it!
  • Besides its increased viciousness while Risen, Kushala Daora's attacks now cover more ground and may require you to roll more often. Be careful when you are trying to read its patterns!
  • Don't forget to bring Nulberries to the fight! Many of Risen Kushala Daora's attacks inflict Dragonblight.
  • Try to knock it out of its Risen state. Keep dealing damage to the Risen Kushala Daora to turn it back to normal.

Swiping Claws - Risen Kushala Daora uses its two front claws to slash. It swipes with its right arm and then with its left arm. Both arms are engulfed by a small tornado that lets out a blast forward.

Slam - While Risen Kushala Daora is on the air, Risen Kushala Daora will land on a powerful and massive slam. Immediately, it will get on the air again, charge a powerful blast of air and release it forward.

Risen Wind Nova - Risen Kushala Daora soars to the sky and turns, creating a powerful blast of wind energy on the ground that rotates and creates a spherical explosion that gets wider before being dissapearing.
