Monster Hunter Rise Dragon Element Notes & Trivia
Is Dragon Element good in MHR?
- Dragon Element is most effective when used against monsters weak against the element. It may not be the most general-use element though as not many monsters have it as a weakness. Nevertheless, there are a few Large Monsters that have it as one of their main weakness, such as Rathalos, Rathian, and Gaismagorm. On top of this, Weapons under the Valstrax tree are Dragon Element and boast some of the best stats when compared to weapons of other trees, making it great for general use. Elemental Damage, such as Dragon Element, is best used by fast attacking weapons such as the Dual Blades and Sword and Shield. If you want to boost your Dragon Element damage, consider slotting in Skills that affect Elemental Damage like Burst, Dragon Conversion, and Critical Element. Skills that can boost Dragon Element specifically include Dragon Attack and Dragonheart.
Other Notes
- See Dragon Resistance for other interaction with the dragon element.

we fight like 5 different monsters with dragon as a major weakness in low rank, so why is it only obtained in high rank? doesn't make much sense to me
