When using the Red Swap Scroll, all elemental resistance is set to 0 and converted into elemental attack. The Blue Swap Scroll raises elemental resistance.

Dragon Conversion is a Skill in Monster Hunter Rise (MHR). Dragon Conversion is a new skill added in the Free Title Update 4. Dragon Conversion gradually converts elemental resistance into elemental attack when on the Red Swap Scroll, and gradually builds up elemental resistance when on the Blue Swap Scroll. This skill has 3 levels. Skills are granted to Hunters by their equipped Weapons, Armor, Talismans and Decorations and play an integral role in a Hunter's progression.

 

Dragon Conversion Effect

Dragon Conversion is increased in level based on the amount of Equipment with this skill the hunter is using. Each level works as follows:

  • orange skill icon monster hunter rise wiki guideLevel 2: All elemental resistances +5. When using the Blue Swap Scroll, resistance buildup increases when continuously attacking.
  • orange skill icon monster hunter rise wiki guideLevel 3: All elemental resistances + 10. When using the Red Swap Scroll, the conversion rate for elemental attacks increases.

 

Dragon Conversion has 3 levels, after which, additional levels won't provide any further benefit.

      conversion ratio is reduced for ranged weapons, if you're not modding you will also loose some of the skill effectiveness from -resists on your qurio augments
      the only weapon where this skill seems like it could be better than other options is dual blades
