Layered Armor in Monster Hunter Rise (MHR or MHRise) is a category of armor. This is a special set or piece of equipment that changes the appearance of the hunter or buddies. Layered armor is only used as a cosmetic item and it does not apply any defensive properties or effects as a regular set or piece of Armor does. Layered Armor can be obtained in various ways such as DLC bonuses, rewards, and crafted in-game. This page covers a list of all the layered armor that is featured in Monster Hunter Rise.
How to edit your Layered Armor
You can find your Layered Armor Settings as a menu when visiting your Equipment Box. You can edit two channels of layered armor colors, and select from a range of hues. You can also save your look as a loadout for quick swapping
Your Palico and Palamute Layered Armor is found in the Buddy Board. It has similar settings to those of your character.

really ugly armour in this game. the cat and dog got better armour than the hunters. world was atleast a little better.

Not a single barefoot option, like the hot spring set from World. World is by far the better game for fasion, at least so far. At least the weapons look decent this time around.
