Thunderblight Effects

Effect on Hunters

Hunters that are inflicted with Thunderblight become more susceptible to the Stun effect.

Effect on Monsters

A monster afflicted with Thunderblight can be stunned with non-blunt weapons. A strike to their head is most effective but hitting other parts of their body will still accumulate and trigger the stun with a final blow to their head. Exploiting this state is advised.

Thunderblight Cures/Prevention

How to Cure Thunderblight

Thunderblight can be cured by consuming a Nulberry. Alternatively, hunters can repeatedly evade   (left-stick-switch-mhr-wiki-guide+b-button-switch-mhr-wiki-guide) in order to reduce the remaining duration of the effect. It is also possible to simply wait until the duration of the effect runs out on its own.

How to Prevent Thunderblight

Like other Elemental Blights, the effects caused by Thunderblight can be mitigated and even completely negated if the hunter possesses enough of the corresponding Elemental Resistance, which in this case would be Thunder Resistance.

Thunder Resistance of at least 20 is required to prevent Thunderblight.

Thunder Resistance of less than 20 will mitigate the effects of Thunderblight, however will not prevent it.

Thunderblight can also be prevented by having Lv. 3 of the Blight Resistance armor skill.
