The form taken by Gore Magala once they mature and molt. Gorgeous, glittering scales cover Shagaru Magala, and their divine wings are large enough to wrap around their entire body. According to records, one was once said to have scattered its black scales over an area the size of a mountain, annihilating any and all lifeforms inhabiting that region.

Shagaru Magala use a variety of attacks—including area breath attacks and explosive pollen—and wield their black scales to even deadlier effect than Gore Magala. The Frenzy
is as much of a threat as ever, so don't forget to bring Nulberries. Keep your eyes and ears peeled for powerful wingarm strikes and their bevy of breath attacks.

Quick Combat Tips

  • Stay away from the Shagaru Magala whenever it stands up with its back legs as it will sure attack nearby target with an AoE effect slamming the ground or exploding it with its elemental energy.
  • Attack his arm from behind when Shagaru Magala is enraged.
  • Shagaru Magala seems to feel uncomfortable at close combat when it's not enraged. Most of its elemental attacks are mid-range attacks. 

 

MH Rise Shagaru Magala Attacks & Moveset

Spit - Spits a quick ball of energy, thrown with a parabolic trajectory aimed to a target,and takes ao short moment to explode.

Charge - Runs towards a target attemping to step on it.

Ground Blast - Roars with sparkles coming out from its mouth and then spits an energy ball to the ground causing a explosion that expands sideways.

Sliding Spit - Roars and spits with its head near the ground 3 times, throwing energy balls that slide away on the ground.

Slam - Stands up shortly with its back legs and falls again slams the ground with its arms.

Assault - Swings its wings, starts flying and assault a target at long range with its whole body.

Spin - Makes a double spin that leaves looking backwards, during the spin, it pushes closeby targets away.

Beam Sweep - Stands on its back legs and throws a beam of purple energy to the ground that lastss for a moment sweeping side to side nearby targets with it.

Jump back - Shagaru Magala jumps backwards, a long distance jump, hitting (Low Damage) enemies on its ways.

Dark Rain - Flies up in the air and roars while turning enraged, as drops of energy fall all around the arena.

Ground Blast - Charges energy on a hand a smashes the ground creating severral vertical elemental explosions.

Side Bump - Aggresively jumps side way hitting any creature on its way.

Air Strike - Flies and throws energy to the ground causing a few vertical explosions, and then assaults while landing on the ground.

Distant Beam - Opens its wings and stands on its back legs roaring, then suddenly fires a beam of energy through its mouth moving it from side to side.
