MH Rise Gore Magala Combat Info

Coming into contact with patches of scales may infect you with the Frenzy virus. You'll lose your natural ability to heal and become more susceptible to all forms of attack. Keep attacking before infection sets in to overcome it. Its Frenzied State can be dispelled by attacking the head.

Quick Combat Tips

• Everytime the Gore Magala is about to spit a ball of dark energy, you will be able to see dark gas and sparkles coming out of its mouth. Mind that these orbs remain for a short moment, exploding several times before fading out.
• Aim for the horns to achieve maximum damage and to make it come back to normal from enraged mode.
• Thunder and Fire elements are its weaknesses
• It's wings are the most resistant part of its body, but its legs are weaker than other monsters.

MH Rise Gore Magala Attacks & Moveset

Blast Spits - Stands up a spits a dark combusted orb towards a distant target, that once it gets to its destination it explodes a couple of times before fading out..

Consecutive Blast Spit - Gore Magala spits three dark combusted orbs

Rapid Blast Spit - Quickly spits three dark combusted orbs to the ground while moving its head from one side to the other.

Bite - Backs up a bite and steps forward biting a target that is attacking him from the front.

Heavy Melee Attack - Swings a heavy melee attack with its wingarm. A variation where it swings twice is more rare but also possible.

Slam - Stands up with its back legs and prones back heavily slamming the ground.

Charge - Charges to a target attempting to also bite it.

Momentum Tail Whip - Somtimes when the Gore Magala receives heavy damage to the head, its head is pushed back, Gore Magala uses the momentum to turn back swinging its tail. Sometimes it does the same after failing to bite a target.

Fly - Jumps back, and starts flying for a long while. While flying melee attacks will main reach its legs only. As it flies around it will spit many dark combusted orbs.

Dark Fog - When the Gore Magala is catching up its breath, it leaves a dark fog below that gets stuck to nearby targets for a while.
