Quick Combat Tips

  • Aurora Somnacanth is weakest at its head but note that it is also where most of its attacks will come from. It may be difficult to reach its head when it is standing on its tail. In such cases, focus your attacks on its tail instead.
  • Take advantage of Aurora Somnacanth's long animations and recovery times for certain attacks as it is left vulnerable for long periods.
  • Different from regular Somnacanth, it cannot put you to sleep, but its most dangerous attack is the frost beam which can reach long distances. Its beam can be dodged by jumping high in the opposite direction the beam is swinging at.
  • Come equipped to resist Ice damage and perform fire damage. Blunt weapons are also recommended.
