MH Rise Silver Rathalos Characteristics & Locations

A rare species of Rathalos covered in shimmering silver scales. Known as the Silver Fire Wyvern, or alternatively the Silver Sun, as inspired by their majestic appearance. These wyverns are known for their fierce breath and even fiercer claws, giving these threatening beasts exceptional combat ability. In battle, their attacks grow only more intense when in their Incandescent state.

MH Rise Silver Rathalos Combat Info

With deadlier aerial claw attacks than the standard Rathalos, Silver Rathalos also have a myriad of breath-based attacks. When in their Incandescent state, their breath attacks grow more potent, but their head also becomes weaker. Constant attacks to the head will knock them out of this enraged state, so focus your attacks there as you fight!

  • Enraged Mode: The fire coming from its mouth becomes more sparkly until the fire turns blue, while it also hot are can be seen coming out from its neck. All fire attacks are harder to dodge as their travelling speed is increased. Its attacks are more frequent, and rapid.

Quick Combat Tips

  • When fighting at close range, always be prepared to dodge the Stomp attack.
  • The Fireball at first seem easy to dodge, when the Silver Rathalos is enraged, these projectiles move much faster so the player must predict there attack to dodge them.
  • When Silver Rathalos is flying, its tail becomes its most vurnerable reachable point

 

MH Rise Silver Rathalos Attacks & Moveset

Fire Ball - Throws fire from its mouth, setting a small portion of ground on fire. This attack can also be performed by the Silver Rathalos while it's flying.

Multiple Fire Balls - Throws fire multiple times targeting an enemy even if its moving, leaving a small fire on the ground after each fireball. 

Double Half Spin - Turns back swinging its tail, and then turns back to the way, swing the tail again.

Fly - Silver Rathalos is able to fly, but it stays near the ground, while flying the Silver Rathalos is able to perform ranged attack such as Fireballs.

Fire Line - While flying throws a fireball to the ground, that makes a trail of fire come out from the ground.

Tail Swing -- While flying, the Silver Rathalos rolls its tail to the front, and unrolls it quickly towards a target to hit it.

Fire Sweep - While flying it throws a beem of fire to ground around it.

Fire Wave - Throws quick waves of fire, leaving a trace of fire on the ground.

Stomp - When a target stays close to the Silver Rathalos for too long, it will leap upwards and stomp on the ground pushing nearby targets back. Its also the way it lands on the ground after flying.

Multiple Meteors - It will fly higher than usual and start spitting big but slow fireball towards an enemy.

Flying Kick - Flies towards a target and attacks it with both legs.
