Mail of Hellfire is a Skill in Monster Hunter Rise (MHR). Mail of Hellfire is a new skill debuting in the Sunbreak Expansion. Mail of Hellfire decreases defense but increases attack. Exact changes to stats depends on Switch Skill Swap Scroll that is being used and has 3 levels. Skills are granted to Hunters by their equipped Weapons, Armor, Talismans and Decorations and play an integral role in a Hunter's progression.

Mail of Hellfire Effect

Mail of Hellfire is increased in level based on the amount of Equipment with this skill the hunter is using. Each level works as follows:

• Level 1: Using Red Scroll: Defense down, attack up. Using Blue Scroll: Resistance down, element up.
• Level 2: Further decreases defense and resistance, while further increasing attack and element.
• Level 3: Greatly decreases defense and resistance, while greatly increasing attack and element.

Mail of Hellfire has 3 levels, after which, additional levels won't provide any further benefit.

Red Scroll:

• Level 1: Attack +15, Defense -50.
• Level 2: Attack +25, Defense -75.
• Level 3: Attack +35, Defense -100.

Blue Scroll:

• Level 1: Element +5%, Resistances -10.
• Level 2: Element +10%, Resistances -25.
• Level 3: Element +20%, Resistances -50.
