Aim Booster is a Skill in Monster Hunter Rise (MHR or MHRise). Aim Booster shortens the distance before ammo and arrows reach maximum power. and has 3 levels. Skills are granted to Hunters by their equipped Weapons, Armor, Talismans and Decorations and play an integral role in a Hunter's progression.

 

Aim Booster Effect

Aim Booster is increased in level based on the amount of Equipment with this skill the hunter is using. Each level works as follows:

  • divine_blessing_skill_monster_hunter_raise_wiki_guide_25pxLevel 1: Slightly extends range.
  • divine_blessing_skill_monster_hunter_raise_wiki_guide_25pxLevel 2: Exntends range.
  • divine_blessing_skill_monster_hunter_raise_wiki_guide_25pxLevel 3: Greatly extends range.

Changed to Ballistics in 2.0 patch.

 

Aim Booster has 3 levels, after which, additional levels won't provide any further benefit.

      The levels say they extend range, but the description seems to say it shortens the minimum critical distance. So does this allow you to deal full damage from closer up, or from further away?
