Affinity Sliding is a Skill in Monster Hunter Rise (MHR or MHRise). Affinity Sliding sliding increases your affinity for a short time. and has 1 level. Skills are granted to Hunters by their equipped Weapons, Armor, Talismans and Decorations and play an integral role in a Hunter's progression.

 

Affinity Sliding Effect

Affinity Sliding is increased in level based on the amount of Equipment with this skill the hunter is using. Each level works as follows:

      Only use I can think of for this is if you use a switch skill, like Sword and Shield's sliding advance... Otherwise not that many options to actually proc it effectively

        Man did they ever screw up sliding in this game. There are countless spots that are obvious slopes and you don't slide. Then some completely flat, hidden areas where you suddenly find yourself sliding. And a couple long areas where you slide. End result is this deco is useless. Not like you need it with the wirebug, but still if you're gonna have sliding why not do it properly like in World?
