Defiance is a Skill in Monster Hunter Rise (MHR). Defiance is a new skill debuting in the Sunbreak Expansion. Defiance increases defense when large monsters become enraged and has 5 Levels. Skills are granted to Hunters by their equipped Weapons, Armor, Talismans and Decorations and play an integral role in a Hunter's progression.
Defiance Effect
Defiance is increased in level based on the amount of Equipment with this skill the hunter is using. Each level works as follows:
Level 1: While active, nullifles weak roars, wind pressure, and tremors.- Level 2: While active, nullifles weak roars, wind pressure, and tremors. Reduces all strong ones, def +5
- Level 3: While active, nullifles weak and strong roars, wind pressure, and tremors, def +10
- Level 4: While active, nullifles weak and strong roars, wind, and tremors, reduces powerful roars & d.wind, def +20
- Level 5: While active, nullifles weak, strong and powerful roars, wind & dragon wind, and tremors, def +30
Defiance has 5 Levels, after which, additional levels won't provide any further benefit.
