After filling the gauge by continuously landing attacks, negates damage reactions and reduces damage taken from a single attack that would knock you back.

Intrepid Heart is a Skill in Monster Hunter Rise (MHR)Intrepid Heart adds a blue gauge above your health meter which  fills as you land attacks. Once filled, the skill activates and allows you to take significantly reduced damage and ignore damage reactions from a single large attack that would otherwise flinch or knock you back. Gauge fill rate varies by weapon type. This skill has 2 Levels. Skills are granted to Hunters by their equipped Weapons, Armor, Talismans and Decorations and play an integral role in a Hunter's progression.

 

MH Rise Intrepid Heart Effect

Intrepid Heart is increased in level based on the amount of Equipment with this skill the hunter is using. Each level works as follows:

  • white skill icon monster hunter rise wiki guideLevel 2: When activated, damage received is further reduced and will detonate an explosion.

Damage reduction is roughly 50% at Skill Level 1 and roughly 75% at Skill Level 2.

Intrepid Heart has a maximum of 2 Levels, after which, additional levels in the skill will no longer provide any further benefit.
