Shock Absorber is a Skill in Monster Hunter Rise (MHR or MHRise). Shock Absorber is a new skill added in the Free Title Update 5. Shock Absorber disables flinching caused by friendly fire between players. This skill has 1 level. Skills are granted to Hunters by their equipped Weapons, Armor, Talismans and Decorations and play an integral role in a Hunter's progression.

 

MH Rise Shock Absorber Effect

Shock Absorber is increased in level based on the amount of Equipment with this skill the hunter is using. Each level works as follows:

Shock Absorber has a maximum of 1 Level, after which, additional levels in the skill will no longer provide any further benefit.
