Fukashigi the Informant is an NPC in Monster Hunter Rise (MHR). NPCs are non-playable characters that interact with the Hunter during the story or optional activities in game.
It is I, Fukashigi the Informant, at your service! I covered my tracks so carefully, and yet you found me anyway. You really are a fur-st rate Kamura hunter. I can't divulge my true identity, but I'm a connoisseur of secrets, let's say. I often get my paws on mew infur-mation that's sure to pique your interest. I look forward to working with you.
Information
- Fukashigi the Informant is a sneaky Palico that delights in uncovering the dirtiest secrets Kamura Village has to offer. Should the hunter ever find themselves wanting to learn more about Kamura Village and the personal lives of those who live there, Fukashigi will surely have some juicy information to share.
- Fukashigi the Informant will have new bits of information to share every time the hunter completes a Village Urgent Quest, so be sure to check back every once in a while to hear what spicy secrets Fukashigi has managed to dig up.
Locations
- Fukashigi the Informant can be found hidden away in your room in Kamura Village. Immediately upon entering your room, turn to the left and head to the very back where there is a painting of a Tetranadon hanging up in a small alcove in the wall. Walk up to the painting, and you will find that you are actually able to interact with it. Upon interacting with the painting, the entire wall behind it will rotate, revealing a hidden perch attached to the backside of the wall upon which Fukashigi the Informant can be found.

- As stated before, the hunter can talk to Fukashigi to hear what hidden secrets the villagers of Kamura Village might be hiding. The following is a compilation of all the secrets that Fukashigi shares with the hunter:
First Secret

One day, I snuck into the Gathering Hub and saw Minoto sketching...
She giggled and said she was trying to draw Master Hojo. But it didn't look like Hojo at all! It looked exactly like a Tetranadon!
*sigh* Some people have artistic sense but I don't think Minoto is one of them...

Seventh Secret (Part One)

Yomogi the Chef...

Has no idea of the secret truth of her origin.
In fact, most of the villagers have no idea about it either, so treat this knowledge with care...
When Yomogi was but a babe, she was brought to Kamura by a Wyverian hunter for safekeeping.
After that, the Wyverian was never heard from again, so the village ended up taking Yomogi in.
The only people who know who she is or where she came from are Elder Fugen, Master Hojo, Hinoa, and Minoto.
I can feel it though...
An air of "exaltation" emew-nates from Yomogi - a sort of puurr-estige or nobility well outside the norm.
Purr-haps she was born into a distant aristocracy, or more...
But well, now I'm just speculating...

A big Cohoot-lover!
He even keeps three of them: Ichiho, Brother in Arms; Nim, Teller of Tales; and, Scouting Chief Sanra!
Ichiho fought alongside Elder Fugen when he was still a hunter. Now, it's gone into retirement with Fugen.
Elder Fugen treats all his Cohoots like members of his family! How SO very heartwarming. It makes me want to purr!

The reason that Rice Ball Artist Seihaku likes Komitsu the Sweettooth...

Shocked, are you? That's right - YOU! It was you who led that rice enthusiast down the path of love!
It all started way back, when you began devoting yourself day and night to your hunter training.
Seihaku's mom asked him to deliver some rice balls to you at the Training Area...
And Komitsu tagged along because she wanted to give you a candy apple too.
But they took a wrong turn, and ended up lost in the Shrine Ruins, when suddenly, meownsters appeared!
Seihaku hid, trembling and on the verge of tears. Komitsu held him through it all, comfur-ting him...
Even though Komitsu was fur-rightened too, she kept smiling and telling him that everything was going to be OK.
Oh me, oh my, what a good kid! Ever since, Seihaku has been smitten with Komitsu and her courageous spirit.
But, afraid that she now sees him as weak, he is too shy to be straight with her...
And he feared you would feel responsible if you ever knew, so he kept it a secret. It isn't your fault, after all.
