Resistance Down is a Status Effect in Monster Hunter Rise (MHR or MHRise). Status Effects are various buffs, effects, and ailments that can be afflicted on both hunters and monsters. Both Hunters and Monsters can receive Effects from Skills, the environment, and attacks.

Resistance Down Effects
Effect on Hunters
Hunters that are inflicted with Resistance Down temporarily lowers their Elemental Resistance for a certain period of time, making the hunter more susceptible to Elemental Damage as well as each of the Elemental Blights.
Effect on Monsters
Resistane Down cannot be inflicted on Monsters.

How to Cure Resistance Down
Resistance Down can be negated by consuming an Nulberry. Alternatively, players can just wait for the effect to wear off.
How to Prevent Resistance Down
Anything that prevents the hunter from becoming afflicted with Resistance Down should go here (Armor Skills, Armor Sets, Endemic Life, Meal Buffs, etc.)
