Knockback is a Status Effect in Monster Hunter Rise (MHR or MHRise). Status Effects are various buffs, effects, and ailments that can be afflicted on both hunters and monsters. Both Hunters and Monsters can receive Effects from Skills, the environment, and attacks.

Effect on Hunters

Hunters that are hit by an attack capable of inflicting Knockback will perform a quick flinch that briefly interrupts whatever they were doing prior to the attack.

Effect on Monsters

Knockback does not affect monsters.

Knockbacks Negated Stat Boost Temporarily makes the hunter immune to being knocked back.
Sonic Barrier Stat Boost Grants a temporary sound shield that nullifies the next roar, tremor, wind pressure, or knockback inflicted on the hunter.
