Monster Hunter Rise Blastblight Notes & Trivia
Does Bombardier work with/affect Blastblight in MHR?
- As Bombardier only affects items, it unfortunately does not affect status effects such as Blastblight. Bombardier affects items such as the Large Barrel Bomb and Mega Barrel Bomb. If you're looking for Skills that affect or are affected by Blastblight, look instead for armor or decorations that have Blast Attack, Teostra Blessing, or Buildup Boost.
Does Critical Element work with Blastblight in MHR?
- Like above, Critical Element does not affect Blastblight as it only affects elemental damage i.e. Fire, Water, Thunder, Ice, and Dragon damage. In Monster Hunter World, there was a skill called Critical Status that had the same effect as Critical Element but affected status effects such as Blastblight. Unfortunately, this skill hasn't been introduced in Monster Hunter Rise and it is unknown whether it will be in the future.
