Investigation Coin is a reward Material in Monster Hunter Rise (MHR). Investigation Coin is one of the new materials available in the Sunbreak Expansion. Materials such as Investigation Coin are special Items that are obtained from looting the environment, completing Quests and objectives, and by carving specific Monsters. Materials are usually harvested off a Monster after completing a hunt, and these are primarily used for Crafting and upgrading a hunter's equipment.

How to get Investigation Coin

- Investigation Coins can be obtained by completing Anomaly Investigations.

Investigation Coin is the currency used by Bahari in the Anomaly Research Lab. Hunters can use it to acquire hard to find Materials.

One of the best ways to earn Investigation Coins is to complete 10 Research Requests at the Anomaly Research Lab. Completing 10 will net players x50 Investigation Coin, but also each Research Request completed will net players x1 Investigation Coin, so if hunters are able to complete 10 Research Requests may earn up to x60 Investigation Coin.
Investigation Coin Usage
Investigation Coin can be used at the Anomaly Research Lab, run by Bahari, to purchase different end-game Materials. Hunters need to select the Item Exchange option when talking to Bahari, to access the item list.

Anonymous50 is what the request starts at, but it the next card gives 100, so it may scale up past that after each card is completed.
