MH Rise Hunting Horn Build Guide
A Hunting Horn comes with a wide varity of team buffs. It is a blunt weapon that allows for repeated stunning. Attacks make notes which can be weaved into melodies. Playing any of the notes in order prompts the Magnificent Trio, allowing the hunter to play all of the songs. Songs are now grouped into the same types of notes. Making it easier for players to remember the notes of a song. Hunting Horn has somewhat of a different feel to it than other heavy weapons. Whereas most heavy weapons excel in delivering one or two attacks that deal tremendous damage, the hunting horn is more reliant on consecutive combos for dealing damage. This heavy hitting combo playstyle allows Hunting Horn users to quickly build up a variety of notes in their Musical Staff so they can unleash a powerful Melody to deal damage and buff allies. Despite this difference in playstyle, Hunting Horn generally benefits the most from the same skills most other heavy weapons use.
MH Rise Hunting Horn Elemental / Status or Raw Damage?
Same as with most heavy weapons, the best Hunting Horn builds are going to be those that stack on raw damage. Although Hunting Horn is somewhat faster than other heavy weapons, it still isn't fast enough to make use of elemental/status damage.

Affinity here can be used to affect enemy weak points when the Hunting Horn is being used. This is affected by skills such as Weakness Exploit and Critical Eye. Adding these two will bring Affinity to 80%. These Skills can be equipped with the Kaiser Crown and Kaiser Vambraces, this can be further stacked with the Ingot Greaves S.

MHRise Earthshaker Hunting Horn Build
This build is made for endgame, made out of the rarer higher ranking Arnor and equipment available in the game. Ideally, this would maximize damage to take advantage of the earthshaker and sonic waves. Wirebug Whisperrer could also be added to reduce the cooldown period.
