Best Bow Builds Monster Hunter Rise

MH Rise Bow Build Guide

The Bow is known for its mobility and quick ranged attack abilities. The bow is a mid-range weapon that can perform a variety of attacks. After the update, Rampage Bows have been improved with a higher attack boost over the element boost 1. This type of build can be considered when creating a build for the bow. Some other key features for the Bow include its coatings that give useful buffs and unlimited arrows that can hail upon the monsters from afar. Some Special arrows are capable of hitting one monster several times with one shot. Its charged shots can deal significant damage when aimed at a monster's weak points, a feature that would pair great with the Skill, Weakness Exploit. Other Skills to consider when creating a Bow build is the Bow Charge Plus, which will increase a bow's max charge level, further increasing damage.

The Bow is an agile ranged weapon that can maneuver around the monster with ease, allowing it to remain close to its target without risking getting hit by incoming attacks. In general, the Bow is a weapon centered around evasive abilities that not only allow it to dodge monster attacks, but also charge up its own attacks, so when they finally manage to find an opening, they can unleash a stream of deadly arrows that shred the monster to pieces. Because of its reliance on evading incoming attacks while also charging up its own attacks, the Bow will mostly benefit from skills that improve its charged attacks as well as increase its evasive capabilities.

MH Rise Bow Elemental / Status or Raw Damage?

The Bow is one of the few weapons where elemental/status builds outshine raw damage builds by a decent amount. Because of its ability to shoot multiple arrows per shot, the Bow is a perfect weapon for applying elemental/status damage. Not only that, but when combined with the fact that a Bow user can unleash multiple shots in a row rather quickly, it is clear to see why the Bow is one of the best weapons in the game for dealing elemental/status damage to monsters.

MHRise Bow Build: Critical Rampage

After the update, Rampage Bows have been improved with a higher attack boost over the element boost 1. These bows have since been optimized to craft a Rapid Shot build. A rapid Shot build can be used by using the Rampage Skill such as Fire Attack III can include Firing: Rapid, Arc Shot: Affinity, Fire Attack III. To pair with the see bow skills, players can equip the Mighty Bow Feather for a Bow Charge Plus, Vaik Mail S, Valstrax Braces for Weakness Exploit and Dragonheart and for Rapid increase, Vaik Coil S. These are some of the common equipment items suggested for bow main users. Some key skills from equipment to keep in mind are those that provide Critical Boost, Attack Boost,  and Weakness Exploit.

This build was made after the adjustments and updates to the Rampage Bow. It is now recommended that when going with a Bow Build to choose a rampage bow such as the Rampage Bow S. This build is highly recommended for those with confident aim to increase chances of a critical hit in order to Maximize damage and is highly favored by various gamers and speed runners. This only requires characters to get their Constitution Skill to Level 3 and is most effective when fully upgraded. Lv 1 Leap of Faith deco has been added to combat Dragonator attacks.

MHRise Chameleos Combat Bow Build

This build centers around the weapon, Araknatorch which since release has received a damage increase. This build is created mainly to combat Chameleos. These equipment items were mainly selected to prioritize optimizing and increasing power. When specifically using this build against Chameleos, players can keep in mind his basic combat attacks and how to counter them. His attacks are fairly easy to dodge so Dodging skills will not be prioritized as much in this build to power up another skill instead.
