MH Rise Dual Blades Build Guide
The Dual Blades are known for their rapid nature makes Dual Blades ideal for applying status effects. They are fast and agile, the dual blades are perfect for chain long and high-damage combos. Demon Mode and Archdemon mode allow hunters to get even more attack speed and damage. Because of their rapid nature and ability to deal status effects, Elemental Skills might be considered for the Dual Blades, which is then complemented with Critical Element to maximize elemental damage output, similarly to how Critical Boost also increases damage for critical hits.
In terms of playstyle, Dual Blades are a very flexible and versatile weapon that have great mobility. In fact, a number of Dual Blades attacks and Silkbind Moves even have movement built into them, allowing the hunter to physically reposition themselves while unleashing a deadly flurry of attacks. Not only that, but by entering Demon Mode, the player will receive a buff to their movement speed, and also be able to perform a modified evade that is much quicker and more agile than the usual evade. Because of its obvious focus on versatility and mobility, Dual Blades are best used with skills that enhance their ability to move rapidly around the battlefield.
MH Rise Dual Blades Elemental / Status or Raw Damage?
Dual Blades are one of the best weapons in the game for dealing elemental/status damage, thanks to the speed and sheer number of attacks it is able to unleash. It should be noted that although Dual Blades are usually praised for their use of elemental/status damage, that doesn't mean that raw damage is completely useless on them. It is fairly easy to make a decent raw damage build for Dual Blades, but when compared to elemental/status Dual Blades being used against monsters that are susceptible to the corresponding element/status, they simply do not perform as well.

MHRise Dual Blade Build: Raw Damage
For a damaging build, Night Wings Dual blades are recommended for this combination with 190 ATK and 40% Affinity. This is best paired with Armor sets with skills such as Critical boost and Attack boost to optimize damage. Armor such as Kaiser Crown, Vaik Mail S, Valstrax Braces, Anjanath Coil S and Ingot Greaves S will contain these skill sets. This can be coupled with Elemental Skills. They maximize damage and increase elemental damage which is best also paired with Crical element to further increase damage dealt if choosing to focus on elemental lasting damages.

Mhr Early Low Rank Dual Blade Build
To start off wih Dual Blades, Wind Thief Sickle I is a low rarity basic attack weapon starting at level 70 attack, which could be upgraded to level 140. It is also paired with the Izuchi Armor set, which is already tied to the Wind Thief Sickle tree, to obtain the Critical Eye Skill, Constitution and Recovery Speed to aid with early game battles which are each balancing stats in the game. Early game, Constitution is needed to reduce stamina depletion when evading, blocking, or doing certain other actions in order to be able to use the necessary basic combat moves more often as needed.
