Hermitaur is a Small Monster in Monster Hunter Rise (MHR). Small Monsters are typically hostile and optional objectives of Hunts, but can produce valuable Materials. This page covers information on Hermitaur including weaknesses, drops, location information, strategies, tips and tricks to help you defeat this monster.
The juvenile form of Daimyo Hermitaur, these small Carapaceons live around coastal areas and sandy soil. They often hide in sand, popping out of their hidey-holes only to claw at nearby intruders. The sizable shells they carry protect their vitals; as they grow in size, they'll move to larger dwellings to accommodate, such as monster skulls. The Carapaceon Brains they yield are quite the delicacy.
