The Voltaic Apex Zinogre is a Non Key Slaying Hub Quest in Monster Hunter Rise (MHR or MHRise). Key Quests are mandatory to complete the game, while none key quests can be completed to earn additional rewards. You'll get 5 key quests and 6 non key quests per rank, if you complete 4 key quests you will unlock the next rank.
I was out on patrol in the Ruins, when suddenly, lightning struck all around me. I though perhaps I had angered the gods enshrined there. But it wasn't any god, it was worse. It was a Zinogre. But this was no ordinary Zinogre. Tread carefully out there, Hunter.
