咬剃 isnt really a word in japanese so it's hard to say but here are some ideas I can try to communicate.
咬 the kanji means bite and gnaw and such but it's usually used in things like 咬痙 which means lockjaw (the disease from rusty metal) or 咬傷 which is like the injury from being bitten so I assume it means bite as in a unit of measurement. Nearby. Very close. Razor thin, if you will lol.
剃 is soru which is the verb for shaving.
So I would guess my best English guess would be the saying "A close shave". or possibly Razor Bite (some people call it razor burn too. The skin irritation.)
If you imagine the image of a man shaving where hes pulling down the skin of his jaw, to get a close shave, I guess that's the best way I can communicate this concept.
Sometimes there's really just no direct translation even though I'm pretty good with both languages.
I would like to know what the artist wanted it to mean.
