The white sharpness on this thing is a massive advantage. A white sharpness bar that big basically negates the need for Handicraft on a Greatsword. Since you don't hit very often compared to weapons like Dual Blades or S&S you'll probably never run your sharpness down to the red if you sharpen in between fights (outside of Narwa/Ibushi hunts).
And if you do run handicraft? It basically fills the whole bar with white. You'll never need to sharpen again!
