MH Rise Espinas Characteristics & Locations

Flying Wyverns known for the red spikes on their tough green frame, forming both a means of attack and defense, thus generally keeping foes at bay. As a result, they are often seen sprawled out and relaxing in their domain. Once they sense danger, however, they expand their blood vessels to turn their hide and wing membranes a bright red, and they will run riot with noteworthy brutality. Espinas are notable for this dual nature of theirs—unconcerned by their surroundings to the extent that they sleep openly and often, but also capable of displaying a profoundly savage nature when they feel threatened.

MH Rise Espinas Combat Info

Their breath attacks are particularly annoying, inflicting poison, paralysis, and fireblight. Make sure you have resistance skills and ailment recovery items at the ready before the hunt. Espinas run riot with charge attacks when enraged, but the increased blood flow softens their flesh, so lay on the pain when you get the chance!

Just fought Espinas for the first time. Not too bad overall, but how am I supposed to avoid its charging attack? Normally, avoiding charging attacks is straightforward, but with this monster... I try dodging to the side, and I take damage despite not actually getting hit; I try blocking, and the attack is unblockable even though I have guard and guard up at max (I'm a sword-&-shield main). How am I supposed to avoid it?

If found a really good strategy for beating this guy, before the hunt find as many antidobras as possible because they negate all his blights and you could also use full Seregios armour because that negates fire completely

Wow so fun can't wait till they add the paralyzed, sleep, blast, fire, poison, one hit kill monster that goes invisible
