Major Bubbleblight is a Status Effect in Monster Hunter Rise (MHR or MHRise). Status Effects are various buffs, effects, and ailments that can be afflicted on both hunters and monsters. Both Hunters and Monsters can receive Effects from Skills, the environment, and attacks.

How to Cure Major Bubbleblight
The Major Bubbleblight status effect can be negated by consuming a Cleanser. Any attack damage taken while inflicted with Major Bubbleblight will also dispel its effects. Alternatively, players can just wait for the effect to wear off.
How to Prevent Major Bubbleblight
Major Bubbleblight can be prevented by having at least Lv. 2 of the Bubbly Dance armor skill.
Major Bubbleblight Mechanics
If the hunter is hit by a second attack that can apply Bubbleblight while they are afflicted with Minor Bubbleblight, they will become afflicted with Major Bubbleblight in place of Minor Bubbleblight, causing them to enter a slippery state in which they are unable to efficiently make sharp movements. Every time the hunter attempts to make sharp turns or dramatic changes in their movement, they will instead find that their character slides uncontrollably in the direction they were traveling prior to attempting to turn. While afflicted with Major Bubbleblight, the hunter's HUD will display a 
, signaling that the hunter has been afflicted with Major Bubbleblight. The hunter will remain under the effect of Major Bubbleblight until either the effect wears off, they are hit by an incoming attack, or they use a consumable to dispel the status effect.
