Dragonblight Effects

Effect on Hunters

Hunters that are inflicted by Dragonblight will find that the elemental and status properties of their weapons are negated. This means elemental weapons will no longer be able to deal elemental damage, and similarly status weapons will no longer be able to inflict any status effect buildup on monsters.

Effect on Monsters

Dragonblight cannot be inflicted on monsters.

Dragonblight Cures/Prevention

How to Cure Dragonblight

Dragonblight can be cured by consuming a Nulberry. Alternatively, hunters can repeatedly evade   (left stick switch mhr wiki guide+b button switch mhr wiki guide) in order to reduce the remaining duration of the effect. It is also possible to simply wait until the duration of the effect runs out on its own.

How to Prevent Dragonblight

Like other Elemental Blights, the effects caused by Dragonblight can be mitigated and even completely negated if the hunter possesses enough of the corresponding Elemental Resistance, which in this case would be Dragon Resistance.

A Dragon Resistance of at least 20 is required to prevent Dragonblight.

A Dragon Resistance of less than 20 will mitigate the effects of Dragonblight, however will not prevent it.

Dragonblight can also be prevented by having Lv. 3 of the Blight Resistance armor skill.
