Gargolda is an Endemic Life creature in Monster Hunter Rise (MHR). Gargolda is a new creature debuting in the Sunbreak Expansion. These animals and insects are found out in the field and hunters can interact with many of them for various effects. Some Endemic Life creatures can also be captured and subsequently used just like items that can help a hunter in many different ways during quests.
A seldom seen bird wyvern that dwells in the Citadel highlands. It roosts up in the mountains, offering little chance for humans to catch a glimpse of it. On the occasion that it descends to the Citadel, the creature remains as still as a statue, with some even referring to it as a phantom. Though its wings appear black, when unfurled, they reveal a striking gold pattern. Truly a sight to behold.

You can find Gargoldas in:
- Citadel, waiting about 7-9 minutes after morning. It's located on the near the top of the eastern cliffs in area 4.
