The Boulder Lizard is a Crafty Creature, which is a subtype of Endemic Life in Monster Hunter Rise (MHR or MHRise). These animals are found out in the field and can be used to gain various Materials for crafting back in Kamura Village.

A relative of the Rock Lizard, these lizards can also be found in a number of locales. And like the Rock Lizard, it also attaches a variety of minerals to its body to protect itself.

However, these minerals are typically harder than those found on Rock Lizards and are more sought after by hunters.

Crafty Creatures in Monster Hunter Rise (MHR or MHRise) can be interacted with or struck to drop Materials for crafting or upgrading at the Smithy. These creatures are found in various out-of-the-way spots throughout the Locations.

• Endemic Life Effect: Sheds higher-Rarity materials when it is attacked.

• When struck with a Throwing Kunai, unlike when interacting or striking it with a weapon, Crafty Creatures will not immediately disappear after dropping an item. They can be struck in this way 3 times to gain 3 drops before escaping
