Switch Skill Weapon Lance

Shield Tackle is a Lance Switch Skill in Monster Hunter Rise (MHR). Switch Skills are swappable moves in a Weapon's moveset that are only available with the Sunbreak Expansion. Switch Skills can be swapped at any Item Box and Switch Skill combinations can be saved to Item Loadouts. This Switch Skill can be swapped with Guard Dash and is part of Skill Set 3.

Shield Tackle Switch Skill Description

A technique where you charge forward with your shield raised. As your shield is raised, you're able to guard against incoming attacks. You can also follow up with a variety of thrusting attacks.

Watch for an opening and then unleash an unrelenting series of attacks.

      This automatically some sort of super guard on it when used. You take no damage from anything, and you don't get knocked back. It is legitimately better than Guard 5 in all ways, so I see no reason for Guard 5. However, still get Guard Up, since this needs it.
