Raging Jewel 3 Notes & Tips
- In contrast to the Ramp-Up Skill Hellion Mode, this decoration only increases your Affinity by 20% when in Demon Mode.
Yes the mode has been nerfed down to 20%, but the opportunity cost still very worth it. Protective polish is very easy to fit into DB builds as it fits the playstyle very well, and getting 20% affinity basically for free is a great option. Not a no-brainer, but lvl 3 rampage DB are all very decent like the almudron/magmadron, daora, los DB.
It's a heartbreak to see what was an amazing Build-Focusing-Level Rampage Skill get butchered. Not only is the margin for Slot 3 Rampage Jewels hard to work with, and keeping the Sharpness issue the same, but lowering it to a measly 20%? At that point, you might not even bother with it.
It was hit too hard and now it's dead.
I hear that this Jewel is a nerfed version of Hellion Mode, such as only gaining a small amount of Affinity instead of the full 100%, it may be good to note if this is true or not.
