Master Rider

Increases damage inflicted by Wyvern Riding, and increases the Wyvern Riding Timer.

Master Rider is a Ramp-Up Skill or Rampage Skill in Monster Hunter Rise (MHR or MHRise). Rampage Skills are enhancements that can change the way a weapon build performs by boosting offensive power, survivability, or utility.

Master Rider Effect

Master Rider increases the amount of damage a monster does while it is being used by the hunter for Wyvern Riding. It also increases the Wyvern Riding Timer, allowing hunters to stay on mounted monsters for longer periods of time.

Master Rider Mechanics

The increase in damage dealt by monster attacks while the hunter is using Wyvern Riding on them seems to be a percentage based increase that depends on the attack's original damage. This means that Strong Attacks will typically benefit more from Master Rider then Light Attacks. The percent-based damage increase for Strong Attacks will be greater then the percent-based damage increase for Light Attacks because Strong Attacks typically have higher raw damage.

Based on minimal testing, this percent increase in damage is roughly about 91%, however more testing is recommended to confirm this number. This means that Master Rider increases the damage done by mounted monsters by about 91%.
