Element Exploit Mechanics

Element Exploit increases the equipped weapon's elemental damage by 30% against parts of a monster that are weak to its element. In order for a monster part to be considered weak to a specific element, it must have an elemental weakness of 25 or more to that particular element. The elemental weaknesses of different body parts for each monster can be found in the hunter's notes.

Element Exploit only boosts the elemental damage of the equipped weapon, not the overall damage.
