Elder Dragons | Monster Hunter Rise Wiki

Elder Dragons are a Monster species in Monster Hunter Rise (MHR or MHRise). Species refers to the classification of different Monsters within the ecosystem, and determine certain characteristics of the monsters, their habitat and their actions. Elder dragons cannot be capture or ridden by conventional means and a puppet spider must be used in order to accomplish such a feat. Elder dragons are probably some of the more difficult monsters in the game to fight but award the player with good gear for early game hunting.
