Cutterfly is an Endemic Life creature in Monster Hunter Rise (MHR or MHRise). These animals and insects are found out in the field and can be captured by dedicated Hunters looking to research and learn about these habitats, and it can also be used just like items that can help a hunter during a hunting quest.

A dragonfly with a sharp red tail that releases pheromones when under threat. During mating season, it rubs its tail on various surfaces to spread the chemical secretion. This action often cuts through fishing nets.

As a result, Cutterflies are shrouded in superstition, particularly amongst fishermen. Breathing in the pheromone grants hunters increased concentration for a higher chance at critical hits.
