A Cold Wind Blows is a Follower Collab Quest in Monster Hunter Rise (MHR). Follower Collab Quests are a type of single-player-only Quest where the player can recruit the various NPCs they've encountered on their journey to join them on hunts. These followers each have their own personalities and quirks and will aid the hunter in various ways, allowing for a completely new hunting experience. There are two categories of Follower Collab Quests: Follower Quests which are specific to each Follower, and Support Surveys in which hunters may pick from Followers they have formed a close bond with and assign them a set of weapons from a limited selection.
- This quest is only available with the Sunbreak Expansion.
I have received a dire message from some of my merchant friends. It seems that they have been set upon by a Kushala Daora in the Frost Islands. There isn't a moment to lose, we must rescue them at once! Come now, let us depart!

- Unlock M⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Hub Quests
- Complete all of Rondine's previous Follower Quests
- Speak to Rondine in Kamura Village
A Cold Wind Blows Completion Rewards
Completing A Cold Wind Blows will award the following:
- Professor Set (Armor Design) for male character.

AnonymousI have MR5 follower quests available and have done the three prior quests for Rondine and this quest is still not available. There's some other trigger that needs to be met before you can access this. Last thing I did was Malzeno.
For anyone coming here trying to find out how to get Rondine to talk to you for the follower quest chain:
Besides catching up on her follower quests, you need to finish at least 2 MR5 key quests and then the urgent quest. Once that's done, she'll open up.
